sweet maddie moo,
happy 4th birthday my sweet little one. i miss you tremendously, as do many others. it’s the third birthday i’ve celebrate without you but rather than have today be filled with sadness, today will be spent living for you.
i am wearing purple, for any other color seemed wrong to wear. and i will eat a cream pie for you. purple balloons and purple flowers will fill my day while purple pictures dance before my eyes. i will smile as i tell everyone of your infectious laugh and how even now you inspire others so much.
thank you for reminding me how much it is worth it to fight. you were an amazing fighter and i’m so proud {and blessed} to have gotten the chance to know you. i’m listening to the song your daddy wrote right now and i am glad to help out friends of maddie once again.
little fighter, today i will watch ellen and dance for you. you are my sunshine and i miss you. but most of all baby girl, i love you.
